If you’ve been longing to add silver, china, linen, art or other decorative items to your home, this guide to treasure hunting on a budget is for you!

Bookshelf vignette featuring thrifted treasures

In the bookshelf vignette above, all of the books were purchased cheaply on eBay, the framed print was on clearance at a local vintage store, the owl came from Etsy and the geode turned up in my backyard. The total cost of everything pictured is around $35, including shipping. I didn’t seek these things out for the purpose of displaying them together, I just keep an eye out for lovely things at a reasonable price.
