I’ve decided to make a point of tackling my reading list in 2021 in a new way this year! I’m participating in Gilion’s (@giliondumas on Instagram) #tbr21in21 challenge. This is  a low-key way to get through the books – you know the ones – that have been sitting on the “to read” shelf forever!

To start, I’ve selected eight books. I’m not very good at sticking to a long reading list, so I’ll pick the next round once I get through these. If you’re on Instagram, you can join or follow the challenge using the #tbr21in21.

stack of books for my 2021 reading list

I’m going to start on the bottom and work my way up. I don’t know yet if I’ll post reviews here as I read, but I’m leaning towards it. At the very least, I’d like to note what I think of the book. It’s going to be great getting through some of these, I’m looking forward to it. And the best part is once I’ve cleared these off my list, I’ll have to buy more books!

Here’s the list of my titles:

The Cement Garden

Colm Toibin

The Mind & the Brain

Glimpses of the Moon

The Woman on the Orient Express

Tornado Weather

The Small House at Allington

Where the Crawdads Sing

Sing, Unburied, Sing

Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife
